Telescopic fishing rods
A telescopic fishing rod is an invention that can make life easier when you are travelling. Much shorter transport length than in the case of two- and three-piece rods allows you to take a telescopic rod practically everywhere. Another advantage of such rods is their universality.

What methods will telescopic rods with guides be useful for?
Depending on the parameters of the rod, we can find a telescopic rod for almost every method, or even a model that is suitable for several methods. Below we present the ways of fishing in which a properly chosen telescopic rod can be used.

Float rods - an overview of methods
Traditional float
A light telescopic rod 3-4 m long will be a good choice for recreational float fishing. Such a rod with a short composition can be packed into the trunk and taken on vacation to enjoy the view of a float on the surface of a holiday lake. It is suitable for fishing on a fixed or through float for very many species of white fish. Float rods are often marked with the word "Float".

Telescopic bolo rod
A long, telescopic rod with a low casting weight will work well as a bologna, i.e. a rod for fishing on a river flow with a fixed float. The bologna method requires a rod from 3.5 to even 6 m, so you can keep the longest section of line between the tip and the float in the air. Choosing the right rod for bologna can be made easier by the markings "Bolo" or "Bolognese" etc.

Match
Telescopic match, or distance lures, do not have to be capped. We may as well use a telescopic model with a fast top action. A match rod doesn't have to be long, but it should have a power reserve that will allow you to haul in a few kilograms of fish, as we often use the distance method to catch carp.

Żywiec
A lively rod, that is a rod for catching predators with live fish, must be strong first of all. Another important feature of such a rod is its soft, parabolic action, which will allow you to fully control the haul of even a large pike or catfish. You don't have to worry about the weight of the rod, as it will lie on supports most of the time waiting for a strike, but its length is important for the casting distance. We should choose a spinning rod, like any other rod, according to the rule: longer rod = longer casts.

Telescopic groundbaits
Ground rod with a spring
A method for catching carps, breams and other kinds of big and medium fish is a groundbait with a groundbait spring, which has been known and valued for generations. The set for fishing with this method is quite heavy, so our rod should have the right casting weight, for example 200g. Also the construction of the rod must allow us to tow a few-kilo specimen. Fighting with a strong opponent is easier with a parabolic or medium action. You can recognise the model suitable for ground fishing by the word "Ground" sometimes present in its name.

Feeder and picker on a telescope
A groundbait basket is often a shot in the arm when fishing on a float doesn't bring any results. Feeder and its lighter, typically lake variant, i.e. picker, are methods in which a bite is signalled by a vibrating rod tip. Our telescope will come with two or three tips of different thickness, which we can change depending on the conditions in the fishery.

Telescopic carp rods
These are very strong rods with an additional advantage of a small transport length. Two-piece carp rods can be even 2m long after folding, which doesn't make transporting them any easier. So if we care about ergonomic solutions, it is better to choose a telescopic model.

Ground fishing for predators
Sandpipers and catfish, but also perches and pikes, often feed near the bottom. A dead fish or a fillet fastened to our hook is a real bite for them. Groundbait for catching predators must be very strong and have the appropriate casting weight. We are looking for models with a soft action, which will cushion the jerks and let us haul the fish quickly and comfortably without risking too much.

Telescopic spinning rod
Telescopic spinning rods are a large group among rods for predators. Their handiness has been appreciated for years, and their parameters and usable qualities improve every year. It is no longer a rule that a telescopic model is worse than a traditional two-part spinning rod. Fast peak action and low weight make telescopes a very good alternative to cap models. Depending on what and where we intend to fish, we choose a more delicate or stronger spinning, with an appropriate length and casting weight. Telescopes suitable for this method often have the word "Spin" in their name.

The telescopic folding system will prove invaluable during our vacations, but this time we will be fishing from the seaside beach. The specificity of the surfcasting method requires using a very long rod with guides, even 5 metres, although in most cases a model between 3.9 and 4.5 metres will suffice. Besides the length of the rod, the casting weight is also important when fishing from the beach. Long distances, over which we send our lures, often force us to use weights over 100g, so we need to check this parameter carefully, to avoid buying a rod that is too delicate. The "Surf" designation, present in the names of many surfcasting rods, will help us in our search.

One rod for several methods
It is a good idea to have in your collection of rods something that will work as a ground rod if needed, and then can be quickly rearmed into an effective float rod. On the market you can find rods with universal parameters, among which telescopic rods are the most popular.

A strong, medium-length telescope with a soft action and high casting weight will come in handy for live bait, carp fishing and ground fishing for catfish. It can also save the situation as a spare rod for sea fishing.

Not very long float rods, if they have a fast action and low weight, can be useful not only for catching the white fish, but they can also successfully replace spinning.

Medium length telescopic rods with casting weight ranging from a dozen to several dozen grams will work well as match or light groundbaits.

These are just some ideas for using one rod for different purposes. It is worth considering individually what the best solution will be and get a rod that meets your needs.

Extendable - folding rods
If someone considers fishing as a boring holding of a piece of rod in the water, he probably has never caught anything! With such an attitude? No wonder! There are many methods of fishing. The equipment we will need depends on our favorite way of fishing. It is known that every lover of this sport would like to get the best possible assortment, which will allow you to enjoy your hobby. Novices, on the other hand, are looking for something perfect to start their adventure with this sport. We are here to help you choose the equipment you will be satisfied with, because fishing is our passion.

A telescopic fishing rod is ideal for all fishing enthusiasts, both experienced and beginners. Telescopic rods find the greatest success in float fishing, but they are used for most fishing methods: ground fishing - from light sets to heavy ones, and spinning. Their biggest advantage is their small size after folding, which turns out to be very important for transportation, especially in situations when we take our fishing tackle on vacation or go for a short business trip, hoping for a moment of relaxation by the rod with friends.
Excellent knowledge of the industry and many years of experience allow us to offer a wide range of telescopic rods of the most respected brands, such as:
Jaxon, Mikado, Dragon, Konger, Robinson, Daiwa, Okuma, Mistrad and York. The hallmark of our manufacturers is not only the best product quality, marked by a solid combination of resistance, effectiveness, functionality and aesthetics, but also an adequate price, accessible to every angler.

The most important role, however, is played by the trust of our customers in the applied modern techniques, which allow us to create unique telescopic rods, built on solid blanks made of glass, carbon and graphite fibres, armed with reliable guides. Everyone will find something for themselves in our offer: elegant and careful finishes, good designs, profiled handles, great balance, dynamic actions, lengths adjusted to individual needs.
